Amherst Central Schools hosting substitute job fair in July [Video]

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) – Amherst Schools will host a Substitute Jobs Expo on Tuesday, July 23rd from 9am-1pm. The district is looking for substitutes at various positions, including certified and non-certified teachers, teaching assistants and aides, nurses and food service workers. Applications are being accepted online.

The Michigan Street African American Heritage Corridor has purchased an office building at Broadway and Elm Street for $1.55 million, per Buffalo Business First. The building went up in 1927 and includes 9,000 sq. ft. of office space with an attached 2,500 sq. ft. warehouse.

Gas prices in Buffalo have jumped three cents since last week at $3.61 per gallon according to AAA. The national average is 10 cents less at $3.51 per gallon.
