Revolut hits 3m customers milestone in Ireland [Video]

Revolut now has more than 3m customers in Ireland, including 429,000 who are under the age of 18, equivalent to a third of children in Ireland.

The digital banking app also has more than 27,500 customers, an increase of a third since 2023.

Sales of personal loans with Revolut increased 20% year-on-year while credit cards issuances grew 87%.

Revolut has grown its customers base in Ireland 20-fold over the past six years, and exceeded the 1m customer mark in 2020 before reaching the 2m milestone a year later.

Globally, the fintech has 50m customers.

The company has also announced Malcolm Craig as its new general manager for Ireland, replacing Maurice Murphy, who is now head of lending for Europe and joining the firm’s management board, where he will join fellow Irishman Joe Heneghan.
