Coroner confirms one person drowned in Upstate [Video]

BREAKING NEWS OUT OF PICKENS COUNTY. THE CORONER’S OFFICE HAS CONFIRMED A DROWNING DEATH. FIRST RESPONDERS WERE CALLED LAST NIGHT TO WEST CHESTER ROAD IN EASLEY FOR A POSSIBLE DROWNING AT A POOL. THE CORONER SAID ONE YEAR OLD MILES DAVIS WAS TAKEN TO A HOSPITAL, WHERE HE WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD. AN INVESTIGATION IS UNDERWAY

The Pickens County Chief Deputy Coroner Andrew Wilson confirmed he responded to a drowning on Wednesday evening.Wilson stated he had no further details at this time and more information will be released Thursday morning.
