GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn — The holiday season is off to a sweet start at Amy’s Cupcake Shoppe in Hopkins.

Baker and pastry chef Izzy Truscio stopped by KARE 11 Saturday to showcase the shop’s breakable skull chocolates and paintable pumpkin sugar cookies for Halloween, and to preview its Holiday in Hopkins kickoff on Nov. 30 in support of Small Business Saturday.

Celebrating 10 years in business, Amy’s specializes in gourmet cupcakes, French macarons, custom cakes and more.
