Better Business Bureau gears up for National Cyber Security Awareness Month [Video]

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — October marks the start of National Cyber Security Awareness Month. The Birmingham Better Business Bureau has two opportunities coming up to help your business be prepared against online scams.

Carl Bates is the president and CEO of the Birmingham BBB. He said there are steps we as consumers can take to protect our information online.

And for protecting your business, he mentioned these five steps to follow:
