England Announce ODI, T20I Squads For Australia Series; Joe Root, Moeen Ali And Jonny Bairstow [Video]

England have announced their white-ball squads for the upcoming series against Australia.

Australia will tour England for a three-match T20I series starting from September 11 followed by five ODI matches.

England have left out experienced campaigners like Jonny Bairstow, Moeen Ali and Chris Jordan as they gear up for preparations for the 2025 edition of the ICC Champions Trophy.

Notably, the trio was part of England’s ODI World Cup squad last year.

Players like Gus Atkinson, Harry Brook, Matthew Potts, and Jamie Smith, who currently are part of the ongoing Test series against Sri Lanka, are named in the ODI squad for the Australia series at home.

Josh Hull has also been included in the team alongside other uncapped players Jacob Bethell and John Turner.

England’s regular white-ball captain Jos Buttler and premier pacer Jofra Archer will also be back in action.
