BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) – One more day of sunshine, low humidity, and a warm, dry afternoon on Thursday for north-central West Virginia. As the next storm system approaches, clouds will increase for Thursday night into Friday morning. Lows should drop into the middle 60s for most places tonight, which is right around average for mid-August. Rain showers in spots Friday morning into the afternoon with clouds and breaks of sunshine. You may notice a spike in humidity to end the work week and that will be one reason storms that move through Friday afternoon could be severe.
