Louisville internet sensation,”That Lawn Dude,” becomes mower for stars and corporations | Morning [Video]

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Since he was a kid sitting on his dad’s lap, Chase Stetson has enjoyed firing up the mower, and getting to work.

“It’s like therapeutic,” Stetson said. “You kind of get your mind off of everything.”

“The summer times, cutting grass, pulling weeds, landscaping, all that stuff,” He remembered. “Went to college, got a marketing degree from UofL.”

He thought he’d put it to use, working for his dad’s lawn company. That is until he bought a drone, captured a cool video of himself on the job, and posted it to social media.

“That one got like 300,000 thousand views, so I was like wow,” Stetson said. “I did another one a week later, that one got 500,000 views. I was like there’s something here.”

That’s around the time he became, “That Lawn Dude.”

He doesn’t stick to what your grandpa has being doing for years.

“We don’t like straight lines around here.”
