China to boost market economy, strengthen growth policies [Video]

China’s State Council Information Office, at a press conference in Beijing on August 1, explained how the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) is promoting the country’s high-quality development.

Officials from China’s NDRC elaborated on measures implemented in the past decade for the nation’s development, and explained how future economic policies will be implemented keeping high quality development in focus.

Zhao Chenxi, vice chairman of the NDRC, stressed the importance of improving the quality of the market economy, which involves enterprises at home and abroad, to build a more vigorous market. He added China will continue laying a strong emphasis on the real economy, private sector, and boosting market economy.
