YAKIMA, Wash.-The Yakima Valley was recently voted the Best Wine Region in USA TODAY’S 2024 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards.
“We are incredibly proud to be voted the best wine region by USA TODAY readers and our supporters,” said John Cooper, CEO and President of Yakima Valley Tourism.
Voting for the best wine region could be done online and was open to the public through July 22, according to a Yakima Valley Tourism press release.
Yakima Valley nominated for Best Wine Region in USA Today Readers’ Choice Awards
The Yakima Valley beat out regions in Oregon, Colorado and California for the annual awards decided through public voting between 20 regions in the U.S. selected by a panel of wine experts and journalists.
