Nate’s Kosher Deli to fill gap after Kohn’s closure [Video]

CREVE COEUR, Mo. — A new kosher deli plans to open in the wake of the closure earlier this month of St. Louis’ only full-service kosher deli, an organization involved said.

Nate’s Kosher Deli will start operating with a soft launch at the site of the former Kohn’s Kosher Meat and Deli Restaurant in Creve Coeur until it finds a permanent location. That’s according to a letter by the Vaad Hoeir of St. Louis, an organization that grants kosher certification, that was shared on social media late Thursday by St. Louisan A.J. Moll, who holds a minority stake in Kohn’s deli.
