Live at Rouses: Rouses and the Alabama Grocers Association [Video]

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Rouses Markets are proud to be a part of the Alabama Grocers Association (AGA). We spoke with Stacy Wiggins, the Rouses Markets Senior VP of Operations, who is also a member of the AGA about the importance of the group and keeping things local.

Here are some notes sent to us by Rouses:

•Local is in our DNA. We support local farmers, fishers, brands, makers and small businesses. It’s been that way since 1960.

•When we move into an area, we like to bring the best of what we offer, which means all kinds of local products from across the Gulf Coast.

•We also work hard to learn about the new community we’re going to serve.

•The goal is to find unique items, the best products in a community, and sell them in our stores in that community, but also to bring them to a larger community — the whole Gulf Coast, helping the smaller companies grow …
