Rain showers and thunderstorms start this morning [Video]

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) – Good Morning NCWV! We are starting off this work week with rain showers and storms hitting our area at around 9-10AM! These storms are expected to remain non severe and likely rain shower amounts are from a half inch to an inch of accumulation. High temperatures have cooled down a bit, getting down to the low to mid 80s in the lowlands and the mid 70s in the higher elevations. These rain showers and storms are expected to remain here in NCWV throughout the majority of the day, leaving the area around 10PM. There are a few chances of rainfall on Tuesday throughout the day but a majority of chances remain in the more mountainous regions as well as in the evening hours.
