INDIANAPOLIS — Governor Eric Holcomb has announced that he will soon be traveling to Australia and Singapore, as part of an “economic development trip.”
Essentially, the trip is meant to establish and foster relationships with businesses in those countries, with a particular emphasis on sectors like manufacturing, defense, and energy.
Holcomb says, “Australia and Singapore both represent…partnership opportunities due to their strengths in bolstering innovation, attracting and developing talent and cultivating growth in critical sectors.”
The governor, First Lady Janet Holcomb, and Indiana Secretary of Commerce David Rosenberg will leave for Australia Saturday, and will return from Singapore on July 30th.
This endeavor is being funded by private donations to the Indiana Economic Development Foundation. Learn more here.
