GoFundMe started to help Capitol Hill Little League [Video]

WASHINGTON — It’s been a historic year for Capitol Hill Little League. All three teams (12U, 11U and 10U) won their respective divisions and are DC champs. Now, Capitol Hill Little League is trying to represent the District at the Little League World Series. The younger teams are heading to Massachusetts and Rhode Island to play in regional tournaments, while the 12U team goes to Bristol, Connecticut. 

But the team is looking for community support to make the business trip. Coach Seth Kaufman started an online fundraiser to help the teams. He says the road trips will likely cost each family close to $1,000. Kaufman hopes to raise $15,000.
