Former social worker opens bookstore in Davison Twp. | Business [Video]

DAVISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJRT)- Those looking to dig into their summer reading lists may want to check out a new store in Davison Township.

The “Turn The Page” used bookstore has been open for just over a month now. Betsy Gist started the store with her husband after a 20 year career in healthcare.

“I left my healthcare career probably around this time last year and that was our goal let’s just grow this and see how it goes,” said Gist. “If we actually can open a brick and mortar ourselves, that’s great.”

Turn the Page started as an online store run by Gist and her husband, but as the books piled up at home, they wanted to have something with more of a footprint in the community.
