Midnight Society drops streamer founder as allegations swirl [Video]

• This time however, a former Twitch staffer has allegedly revealed why Beahm was banned from the platform.
• While it initally presumed innocence, Midnight Society investigated the matter and has chosen to part ways with its co-founder.

You may not immediately recognise the name Herschel “Guy” Beahm, but you may recognise his online alter ego, Dr DisRespect. The streamer best known for his macho persona and appearance similar to that of an 80’s action hero has found himself at the centre of a media storm that doesn’t seem to be waining.

The streamer was banned from Twitch in June 2020 suddenly and without reason. Rumours circulated quickly, but there were no concrete indications from Beahm or Twitch as to why he was permanently banned.
