River Falls hosts first ever Queer Crawl [Video]

RIVER FALLS, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A small Wisconsin city is showing its support for the LGBTQ+ community. And it’s doing so with a so-called “Queer Crawl.” first News at Nine’s Daniel Gomez shares more about the event in our Feel Good Friday story of the week.

Along Main Street in River Falls. You will see some signs of Pride in this small Western Wisconsin city. Bridget Faricy and Beau Fair got a couple dozen businesses around town in on the new show of support, “River Falls doesn’t really have a huge pride presence. And we thought, well let’s just see if there’s any interest from local businesses and people in doing something. And, Beau came up with the idea of calling it the ‘Queer Crawl.’”
